Every now and then, you need to step back, get away from it all so that you can breath and find your zest for life again. That’s exactly what my family and I did a few weekends ago when we packed our bags and swapped a weekend in the city of PE for a weekend of fresh air in Addo.
Not too long ago, I wrote a blog post on helpful online wedding planning tools you can use to help you plan your big day, featuring local wedding magazine Majestic Weddings. A few days later, I received an email from Petra Palframan, the editor of Majestic Weddings, thanking me for featuring the magazine in my blog post. I was pleasantly surprised to hear from her, and even more surprised when she asked if we could do a collaboration! I jumped at the opportunity to work with her because I’m a huge fan of her publication, as well as her website and mobile app! A week later, we were sitting in Seattle Coffee, drinking the best coffee in town and discussing our new project – The Blogging Bride Diaries.
This weekend, I attended my first ECMeetUp – an event for bloggers and influencers in the Eastern Cape. I had an amazing time, got to meet some awesome local bloggers, enjoyed a yummy high tea, and learned so much about blogging and content creation.
