For this week’s Throwback Thursday blog post, I thought I’d share my first #ECMeetUp experience with you, as well as what I learned about blogging, and how you can get cheap flights to Port Elizabeth so that you can attend the next event!
This weekend, I attended my first ECMeetUp – an event for bloggers and influencers in the Eastern Cape. I had an amazing time, got to meet some awesome local bloggers, enjoyed a yummy high tea, and learned so much about blogging and content creation. I’ll be sharing a blog post soon on what I learned about blogging at the event (keep an eye out for that post on Facebook and Instagram).
Disclaimer: This is my personal experience of a women’s only gym and not a professional opinion. Before starting a new exercise routine or joining a new gym, please consult your doctor.
I’ve never been someone who enjoys exercise, but I’ve always acknowledged that exercise is important for my health. And so, at the end of last year, after joining a local gym and cancelling my membership twice, I decided that I would try something different – a women’s only gym – Curves. I wanted to share my experience with you because finding a good gym where you feel comfortable can be challenging. If you’re thinking about joining this gym, I hope this blog post helps you to decide whether signing up for a Curves contract is the right choice for you!
I’m always looking for boots in winter. And a pair of winter boots is a must-have for when the weather gets cold. They keep you warm, your feet dry and they look great with almost any winter outfit! But finding a good pair of budget-friendly boots isn’t always easy. I’ve searched for the best reasonably priced boots and found some items that I think both look good and are affordable. All the boots on this list are less than R350.
I purchased this trumpet sleeve top from H&M while I was in Cape Town, and now I think it’s safe to say that this style is a new favourite! Trumpet sleeve tops typically flare out from about the shoulder or the elbow, and the sleeves can be short or long (the shirt I’m wearing has long sleeves which come over my hands). I’m also loving bell sleeve blouses. The bell sleeve can also be short or long, flaring towards the bottom. Both styles are super flowy and elegant, and I think we’re going to see quite a bit of this style in winter.
