I’ve decided that this year I’m not doing New Year’s resolutions. Instead, I’m focusing on creating good habits by setting monthly goals for myself.
The goal for 2020 is to start small. It’s going to be a ‘slow and steady wins the race’ kind of year, and I’m so excited to focus on building good habits.
I’m hoping to document these monthly goals on my blog, and share my progress at the end of each month. If I know that someone is reading this and following my journey, I MIGHT just be inspired to keep going.
So here’s to building good habits in 2020! Here’s my plan for January 2020:
In January, I will do must best to drink more water. The goal is to drink 2 litres of water a day.
I promise to go to gym three times a week – even on the days when I’m feeling down, tired and stressed.
I’m going to wake up every day at 5am so that I have enough time to enjoy a cup of coffee, eat breakfast, read my daily devotional and make work lunches without having to rush around or worry about being late for work.
These may be short and sweet, but by focusing on these three goals, I’m hoping to make good habits that will stick for the rest of the year.
